This is another one that should be required reading in the fandom. "Four Speeches and a Funeral" follows Sam and Josh on the campaign, and breaks your heart. And then "Reawakenings" mends it. This is an epic (on a slightly less grand scale than the Turning-verse, but still an epic), with very canonical characterisation, cuteness, and hot sex. Lovely.
