Why this vid kicks ass:
It's not easy to watch, and this is a good thing. It's choppy, breathless and it makes you think. Is it a cool, sexy, glorious celebration of Scully's strength? Does it objectify her and glamorize her role as a victim? Both, at once. The vid really highlights the way that the show itself places her right at that boundary, while it goes further than the show in emphasizing that her life as an FBI agent is something Scully has chosen for herself.
Besides being incredibly thought-provoking, the vid is technically excellent, with particularly good use of coloring and effects. A must-see.
