Hi, I'm Mab, I'm doing the April recs for 'The Sentinel'.

'Inclination' isn't your average 'The Sentinel' story, but it's an excellent read. I love AU's and this is a carefully thought-out AU world, putting Jim and Blair into the world of ST:TOS, and making Blair a Vulcan, Telar. Jaquez explores an unpleasant facet of Vulcan society in her story, but Jim and Blair are still present amongst the AU trappings. Jim's insecurities and protectiveness, Blair's determination and enthusiasm; they're here, along with beautifully expressed writing.
