Double or Nothing by Calico (NC17)
Previously on Popslash: Chris leans over and tries to kiss Justin, but since they're too far apart; he has to settle for tapping him gently on the head with the cane. And then he slowly reaches forward, entangles the cane in the blanket closest to him, and pulls until sunlight floods the room.
Today on Popslash: Double or Nothing
Fandom: POPSLASH
Pairing Lance/Weasley Twins
Author on LJ:
ukcalico
Author Website: Calico's Lair
Why this must be read:
"Hey, I let you have that girl last time," he said, trying not to whine, and George started to say something and stopped and then winced at him. "It's Lance Bass."
This is one of the stories I was kind of saving until the latter half of my recs. It's not really something everyone will enjoy, for one specific reason: twincest. In Harry Potter fandom, it's one of those things that gets both an "ewwww" and an "ooooh" reaction; in the past two years of my time in fandom, my squicks have relaxed so much they're almost nonexistant.
The story is really fucking hot. Calico is known not only for her wonderful prose, but also her ability to write a sex scene that makes you want to lick your monitor. Even the twincest scenes (which is really only discovered during the course of the story) take a kind of glowy quality that doesn't seem so weird after all. Lance, too, is different than we normally see him, because the story is told through the twins' perspective, who see him as a stranger and popstar instead of the intimacy we normally have in popslash.
Take a look at what
ruedifference had to say about Harry Potter if you want more information on the fandom.
Main Characters:
Lance, Hollywood playboy and sex fiend.
The Weasley twins, pranksters and sex fiends. (I really, really tried to find a picture of them looking as old as possible, but these are in character from the most recent movie.)
