Why this must be read:

It is a sad, sad thing to me that Gaia has bowed out of fandom. Why? Because her fics were always beautifully written, her characters wonderfully realised, and her twists! Wow. I used to live for the twist, or the initial, clever premise that Gaia would play with wonderfully, or sometimes, if I was lucky - both! This fic is a great case in point. 'A Sonnet for Robert Oppenheimer' is a story about what might have happened if Project Arcturus had succeeded. It's an intricate mystery, but it's a love story too, and it's a cautionary tale - which, in my opinion, is as it should be, given it's based on the events in 'Trinity'. Read it. It's amazing.

“Yeah, addiction to power,” John mumbles.
