Membership Drive!

It's that time of month and once again we're coming up short on volunteer drivers for some of the smaller fandoms, so consider this me on my knees (and not in the good, porny way) begging you guys to:

A) Sign up to make recs,

and

B) Pimp crack_van to your friends lists, fic communities, and mailing lists.


If you've already done any of these things, stopawhile and I thank you!! If you haven't, why not?! *sobs*

What fandoms are seriously lacking? If I know 'em, I might be able to help. :-)

This month I have no Alias or Hornblower reccers. stopawhile has some fandoms she mods that don't have reccers too, but I'm waiting for her list. Once I have it, I'll put out a call for those specifically.

But, just one month out, in April, I currently need volunteers for Alias, Blakes7, Farscape, Hornblower, UNCLE, Roswell, Star Wars Trilogy, Starsky & Hutch & The Professionals, just on the fandoms I mod.

Hmm...I do know a couple Starsky & Hutch fics I'm sure haven't been recced here and, I've done Alias before but I can definitely do it again if you need the help. the others...don't know so well but I *do* know a couple farscape fans I can abduct. err...recruit. ;-p

How desperate are you for rec people? I'm not a member at the moment (I do however pop regularly because this community is so so very properly named... ;) ), but I *think* I could probably rec a few Stargate fics (few being, like, 5 coughcoughmorelikethreecough) that haven't been recced here yet if you really need someone.

Otherwise, I'll just continue to be the happy junkie lurking in the shadows searching for another high that I have been for the past three months. :) But, I just thought I would offer my services, meager though they might be. ^_^
