Catching the Snitch by Magdelena (Adult)
Fandom: HARRY POTTER
Pairing: Harry/Severus
Author on LJ:
magdelena1969
Author Website: Magdelena'a Menagerie
Why this must be read
Maggie's stories are always fun to read, with stories that draw you in and have lots of humor. The way she writes the relationship between Harry and Severus is great, and their interactions with friends and family really make her stories some of the classics in the snarry fandom

Severus nodded in agreement. “The only people I need invite are the faculty and staff who right now are likely listening to us waiting to jot down the date in their calendars.” There was a rustle of cloth around them as several people fidgeted nervously when their eavesdropping was acknowledged. Both Severus and Harry tried rather unsuccessfully to stifle their snorts of laughter. Minerva, Albus, and Hagrid had the decency to blush furiously, although they continued to openly stare at Severus and Harry wearing foolish grins of pride.
Harry stared off into the distance for a moment before again locking his gaze with Severus’. “How’s about June twenty-first at sunset? The Solstice seems like a perfect time to start a new life together.”
“June twenty-first it is.”
“Dress robes?”
“Of course.”
“Albus can perform the ceremony?”
Albus patted Harry’s knee and winked at both of his prized former pupils as he replied. “He’d be delighted to.”
“Witnesses?”
Severus went into lecture mode as he informed Harry of the particulars of the wizarding bonding ceremony. “A total of seven are needed. Two from you, two from me, and three which we share. I would ask Minerva and Poppy for my own, likely you would choose Ron and Hermione, and I would suggest that the joint ones could be Hagrid, Remus, and Draco. Would that be acceptable to you?” Hagrid muffled a sob of joy into his handkerchief and loudly blew his nose as Minerva gently patted his arm, barely suppressed tears of pride filling her own eyes, whilst Poppy, who had been enervated from her faint, clapped her hands in delight at the inclusion of their names in the ceremony planning.
“Absolutely. I’ll ask Colin to take a few photographs. He’ll be there with Ginny anyway.”
“Invitations?”
“Not really necessary on my end. I’ll post a note in Molly’s kitchen, which should take care of ninety percent of my guests, and of course brag to Ron and Draco that we have planned in fifteen minutes what has taken them months of tedious work. That should take care of my half of the guests.” Harry cocked his head to the side and fixed Severus with an inquisitive look. “What about you? Do you need formal invitations?”
“Let’s see.” Severus turned to survey the crowd around him eagerly awaiting his next words. “Do any of you lot need an engraved invitation
