Nice story from a terrific writer.

I don't think a good writer can be recced too many times -- with all the authors and stories out there, it's easy to overlook someone. I went off to re-read it just now and you're right. It's a great read in the morning.

It's been years and years since this was my fandom and I mostly only know the writers from back then, so this was a great rec! I slipped back into my Jim/Blair love like I'd never left and had to go off and read a couple more of her stories. Starting the day in a purple Sentinel haze is a high I didn't realize I was missing.
