Oh!  This is glorious!  I have to be honest here and admit to a big kink for sub!Gene (of which more next post) and this panders to that kink in spades.

There's absolutely nothing explicit here but the writing is so skilfully subtle that it says everything that needs to be said.  Here's quick summary:
