Why this must be read: For my last rec, I wanted to leave with something truly great. And this string of ficlets is just that; I consider this to be one of the best Jayne-centric fics ever written. It really looks at the mercenary from all sides, completely objective about the inherent darkness in his character, but at the same time showing just why we love him so much.
