Why this must be read:

Good SG1 femslash, the truly good, "oh my god this is amazing" stories are rare. Good dramatic, hit you in the gut stories are even rarer. This is one of those stories. It is not a happy fic. If you're looking for fluff, this definitely isn't it. havocthecat has a talent for tackling the darker subjects from torture to character death and the innate horrors of the SG1 universe - the ones the show usually danced around. I had the pleasure of serving as beta on this story and while it's definitely not my usual fare, I was impressed by it and the way it was written.

It should be noted that this is actually a remix of meeshy's Vengeance. Ordinarily I'd say it's double your pleasure/double your fun, but in this case, it's just double a really, really good read.
