Pairing: Joey/Lance, Chris/JC

Author Website: everything and nothing at all
Why this must be read:
"So what are you going to be doing, Kirkpatrick, while we're all revisiting our glory days?" Justin slid into the middle of the booth, directly in front of Chris.
"Mostly making sure none of you fuck up out there," Chris said, pulling a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and tapping them on the table.
"The three of us, we're not really known for fucking up." It sounded defensive, even to his own ears, and Justin tried to cover with a smile and a wink.
"Of course you're not, kid." Chris winked back and lit up a cigarette.
It's a multi-part AU, where the guys are cops who go, as the title might suggest, undercover at a college. It manages to be both a story with a great plot and a story about the emotions and relationships of the characters within that plot. Willa weaves together the stories of the five main character, plus several secondary characters, and gives them all depth, development, and heart. It's great.
