Why this must be read:
So back in the day, this fic caused something of a kerfuffle in popfandom due to the ol' debate over what people "should" be putting warnings for. Not being a warnings kind of gal, I didn't care much and dived right into this ghoulish, creepy, savoury bit of thriller-fic. I love when people take the conceit where each character individually possesses something special/wrong/whatever and do a spin on that, whether it's mutant powers or best features or anything at all along those lines. In this fic, glassapple takes that idea and makes it the focal point *and* a liability at the same time, which is perfect in time for Halloween!
