Why this must be read:
Because reading a fic fromtechnosage is like watching a particularly gifted painter paint scenes for you with your favorite characters. People do things in a completely three dimensional way that most stories completely fail to get across. As for this story in particular? It has Linda and Kara, both neglected Supergirls as far as fandom goes, and it delicately navigates both Linda's former lives and the pain she had to suffer at knowing a much more "pure" version of Supergirl, particularly once that Supergirl was lost to her.
Blaming it on Kara might be convenient. But Eve had blamed the Serpent, and he’d been punished for her weakness. No, Lee wouldn’t blame Kara for what had happened. Linda had wanted it as much as Kara. More.
Kara wanted comfort. Relief.
Linda wanted Kara. Her goodness and purity. She’d needed to taste the slick moisture dampening the too-long football jersey against her thigh. As if drinking Kara’s desire might make her clean again.
