Why this must be read: Bennet and Mohinder's partnership in series two brings an excellent dynamic to Gold and Gunmetal, along with some alarming foreshadowing about where the end of the season will take the two characters.eonism is the one that managed to completely sell me on this pairing; this a short fic, but so vividly written, and I would definitely recommend checking out her others with this pairing as well.
“Your stance is too wide.” A heavy hand comes to rest on the scientist’s waist, another around his right wrist. “And don’t tense your arms so much. The recoil’s going to knock you over holding it like that.”
Mohinder rolls his eyes. “I’m not made of straw.”
“Stop tensing. You’re thinking about it too much.” The hand on his hip lowers to his thigh. Fingers around his wrist tighten, bringing his aim up higher. On his neck Bennet’s breath is damper than the air in rest the room. “And right…there.”
