There is - we've been around since, let's see, early 2003? Granted, we didn't pick up enough momentum to start resembling a fandom till maybe a year later, but the fact that the few of us - and I do mean very few of us who do all the writing have kept at it consistently. Figuring out what to rec will be problematic, however, as I'd say jennaria and I have written close to 90% of the fic that's out there - and the few other people who blip in and out have produced maybe only one or two stories each. I want to rec only a single story per writer in order to be fair, but it may mean I only end up making, say, three or four recs. Which doesn't quite fill a week, and that makes me sad! But the miracle is, I guess, is that it's such a reader-driven fandom, and said readers dig up all kinds of amazing things like press shots that have never been seen before, etc.
