Why this must be read:

The fallout of CaH/Rev 6:8 is common territory for many Highlander stories, but there are few with better honesty and clarity than this one. This story is essentially about friendship and healing, and the long, sometimes painful, but ultimately worthwhile process that can be. It features Duncan, Methos, and Joe, as well as Cassandra and an original male character created by Sandra MacDonald in a different, unrelated story. Teresa's writing is always uplifting, even when tackling difficult subject matter, and she has a wonderfully light touch with characters, emotions, and events that can be heavy and complicated. Also, the ending always makes me fall in love with Duncan and Methos all over again.

I've read this story before and it's a joy to read it again. The last line always does me in. I'm glad you recc'd this one as it let me back to a great story.
