Why this must be read:
For those of you not intimately familiar with this fandom, Iruka is the first person who believes in Naruto. As his teacher, Iruka gives him support, a shoulder to lean on, a person to brag to, and a sense of family. Both were orphaned by the rampaging Kyuubi, the nine-tailed demon now sealed in Naruto. But while Naruto didn't even know this, Iruka is all the more compelling as he loves the rejected boy who holds the destruction of his world. This story is an AU but ... ah, what if?
It's nearly pathetic how easy it is to fool a village full of ninjas. Iruka lies so much that he can hardly remember the truth.
