Why this must be read:

Of all the stories pir8fancier has written (I love them all) I love this one the most. This is a story about war and its consequences, its de-humanization, the loss of innocence, and of sacrifices and the psychological consequences. And beside all this it's a wonderful love story between Harry and Severus, who are both so very much in character that it astounded me.

Beautifully written, the story flows very naturally. It is a story I love to re-read, and it seems to me it gets better with every read.
