Why this must be read: acidpenguin46  writes some of the most brilliantly disturbing fics in the fandom, at least in my opinion. Whenever I see her name by a fic, I know I'm going to be intrigued, satisfied, and disturbed. With this fic, she has a great insight into Sam's neuroses and tells an interesting story of how Sam attempts to get Gene, even if it's only to satisfy his own needs.

The author warns for violence, sexual fantasties, generally dark themes, and drug addiction in a metaphorical sense.

Oh, great rec! I think the worst/best part of that story is the last line, it floors me every time. Even I get the shakes after reading that fic!

I love that last line. I've always wanted a sequel to this fic, even though it doesn't need one. Mark of a good story, that is.
