Why this must be read

Have you ever experienced the mind numbing boredom of a conference or seminars? If you have you'll appreciate Vin's reaction to the conference that he and most of the other Seven are attending. His boredom is exacerbated because (a)Although it is a conference about guns, there's no actual hardware to look at and (b)Because he's sitting next to Ezra.

The story is written in the first person and totally from Vin's POV. I love his snarky tone and his observations of those around him. Limlaith does a great job of showing how he and the others cope with the ennui of the conference. Each characters response seems, to me, to be so in character. The author further supplements the fic with pictures of Vin's doodles, notes and Hangman games he plays with Ezra. They add another level to a most enjoyable story...And did I mention the sex is hot? :)

I'm not a big E/V-er, but this is one of my favorite stories in the M7 universe; Limlaith is one of the most talented writers we have and the way she gets into Vin's head is just awesome. This is definitely a character-driven story that's worthy of rec-cing!
