"I Have A Bad Feeling About This" by Ruth Gifford and atara (NC-17)
Fandom: STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE
Pairing: Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan
Author on LJ:
telesilla
Author Website: ???
Why this must be read: This is one of the very first stories I ever read in TPM fandom, and has remained one of my favorites through all these years. It's an incredibly hot depiction of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in a BDSM relationship. But beyond the obvious kink and smut (which it has in abundance, described in loving detail), this story has a running theme of devotion and love and trust that takes my breath away every time I read it.
And he burned. Burned with humiliation. Burned with the contact of each whip mark on the cool stone table. Burned with need and desire and a hunger that he'd once thought would never be filled. And he burned with pride that his Master would see him like this and know how hard it was for him and that there was only one being in the great wide universe for whom he would lay himself out for like this.
Simply beautiful. Obi-Wan's submission is written as the most tender of gifts, and the possessiveness and love Qui-Gon feels for him is palpable. This is one I've gone back to reread again and again and again.
