Why this must be read:
I have a fondness for missing scene fics. These fics fill in gaps that the show writer(s) left. This fic is a missing scene fic for "Requiem". Well, to be completely accurate, it's several missing scenes. It's beautiful and sad and just tone-perfect. I like the way Adrienne paints Mulder and Scully; her Scully in particular is very nice. I don't want to say too much because it's not a long fic and if you know Requiem you know what this fic is likely about. It just fills in realistically what Scully might have been going through in the time after Mulder has announced he's going to go to Oregon without her to the moment he does depart, and that makes it a great little fic to read. It will break your heart because you know what's going to happen.
