Why this must be read:
Because it makes you go "Awww, poor Lorne!" and want to pet him while laughing your ass off. It's a very humorous "Sheppard and McKay are involved and fooling no one (specifically Lorne in this case) but themselves" type story with a twist: Sheppard and McKay really aren't involved. So they have no idea they're driving poor Lorne batty by treating him as, he thinks, a blind idiot.
