This 'fic' is kind of a spin on a epistolary fic in that the whole story is told through evidence. Notes, police reports, interview transcripts, the like. It's a mystery, but one that you're invited to solve for yourself. This fic is also incredibly impressive in its coding and technical aspects. Not you usual fic, but it allows for the reader to fill in the gaps, to try and construct from the evidence presented what, exactly, happened. I have my own suspicions... ;)
