Why this must be read:SQUIRRELS! I think everyone who's ever read fic has read kitten!fic, cause hey, kittens, but not many fandoms can say they have a really great squirrel fic. This story starts out light and humorous, then gets a little weird and there's a nice dash of hurt/comfort at the end. Anything more would spoil the plot.
Excerpt: Smiling, Ezra asked of his furry friend, “What do you want?”
The squirrel tilted his head, and Ezra swore it cocked an eyebrow at him. Then his little mouth moved, saying, “You know what I want. We’ve been through this already.” The voice was menacing.
“You just talked,” Ezra said, disbelievingly.
