Just finished reading the whole thing last night. This is a major story! I loved it. I especially liked how you found a reason for Jim and Blair to stay together even after Jim got control of his senses. And it just makes so much sense.

There are so many "ever after" stories but yours resolved so many unpleasant questions in such a great way.

And you are right. Jim acted like a jerk, a true asshole, during Murder 101. It has always bothered me greatly that Murder 101, where Jim is the meanest to Blair with no cause, is the episode right after S2. Jim has just been to the jungle and had amazing experiences, to say nothing of having had Blair die and come back!, and yet, he brushes Blair off entirely. Since when does Jim Ellison go "Oh, a rape? Huh. Well, too bad. But hey, it's just a thing a school." The whole episode made no sense. So you fixed it! Yay! If Ellison is going to treat Blair so dismissively, then T'leac and O'Neill will deal with Ventriss Sr.

And I really liked how you had Blair thinking of Jim in terms of Old Jim and Recent Jim. And yeah, the return of Old Jim made me smile quite a bit.

And, finally, of course, is how you wove the two fandoms together so beautifully. I really liked that Blair calls Hammond by his first name, just the way he does with Banks. Not even Daniel ever went that far!

Jim is Blair's anchor, his talisman. That just makes so much sense.

Great story. I really enjoyed it. I got so much resolution from the story. Thank you.
