Yeah, that's when I watched it too. And strangely enough, the very first FK ep I stumbled across was their version of that pilot, partway through the ep. I kept watching going "this is sooooo familiar" and then it clicked when I saw Schanke. I was (and still am) very pleased it got remade, and while I liked Rick okay as Nick, I love Geraint more. Plus having Natalie as the ME changed that dynamic drastically.
