Why this must be read:
In this story, the haven from Anakin's tempestuous, tortured life has been found post-Return of the Jedi, but how safe is it? Can one be harmed after death? The truly unending life seems a horror, and to continue the pagan sense of strolling through the elysian fields, Anakin's shade wants answers. Palpatine touched Anakin's soul in life and now that they're both safely dead, Anakin yearns in the afterlife to have a dialogue with his Sith Master. But where is Palpatine cum Sidious? Anakin hunts through the eerie Blue Glowy Zone, a zone that is multi-planed, layers within layers, not all of them comfortable. Anakin may finally be called truly the Hero With No Fear as he pursues his ethereal idea. Remarkable forest imagery filled with dark glades and deeper shadows, a Virgilian sense of doomed hubris pervades throughout, and you won't be sorry you read this story. You also may not go camping in the woods with quite so much lightheartedness as before.
