Why This Must Be Read: Unusual for the Eroica fandom, this fic is set in Eroica's future (which, chronologically, is probably our past - I know that was confusing, but stick with me). Dorian and Klaus are no longer the young men they were during the seventies, but Klaus' slow realization of Dorian's faithful devotion makes this a nice wallow of a story. Some people might object to a potentially weepy interpretation of Dorian, but maybe you should just get a cup of tea and settle into a nice intersection of love and angst.

I used to know the author in question, and it's not Maygra. She is, however, writing under a pseud, and also switched pseuds when Anne Rice started sueing writers (she's also written a large number of Vampire Chronicles stories), so probably Maygra was simply passing on the comments (she's archived on Maygra's site, after all).
