This story is hysterically funny and completely adorable! Gil is a great writer and while some of her stories are absolutely dead-serious drama, others show her deft sense of humor. This one is written from the point of view of the cat down the hall, and a cat's-eye view is both perceptive (in a food-oriented sort of way) and refreshing. Truly enjoyable -- and you don't have to be a cat-lover to appreciate it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic! I keep a pretty low profile online, so now I'm curious what the other cat-related stuff was about. I'm probably better off not knowing, though -- I kind of like my sheltered corner of LJ!
