Why this must be read:
I believe this was originally written based on some spoiler pics from the series 2 episode Lancelot & Guinevere, luckily this charming and hilariously funny fic stands perfectly well on its own.
Basically, when Gwen is mistaken for Morgana and kidnapped Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot and Morgana go all out to rescue her, which is a shame really, as up to that point Gwen had been rescuing herself perfectly well.
The ride through the forest was mostly uneventful. Gwen could feel the eyes of the bandits upon her every inch of the slow way, and she was even more aware of the knights stalking through the trees, ready to spring at the first movement.
The ride through the forest was mostly uneventful, until she was ambushed by a team of a score hairy men, and the steel-suited knights of Camelot were cut down by another score.
"Useless bloody knights," said Guinevere, and when someone hit her on the head, she knew nothing more.
