Light Moves series by JL (PG - NC-17)
Fandom: THE X-FILES
Pairing: Mulder/Scully
Length: Long series
Author on LJ:

Author Website: Fic Index
Why this must be read:
This series is my personal canon. The first two parts form one of the best post-series long stories I've read, with plenty of gut-wrenching angst and great characterization. I can't say enough adoring things about it.
The later parts to this series have a different tone, but are no less wonderful. One of JL's particular talents (among many) is a gift for smart, interesting and in-character dialogue, and these stories are a perfect showcase of that talent.I've also read a lot of kidfic, and in my opinion, it doesn't get any better than this. The kids are fully realized people, not plot devices and the Mulder and Scully here have grown and learned while still remaining entirely themselves. These stories are funny, sweet, and a true joy to read.
