I love the non-reliable narrator. It's hard to do well, but tmelange succeeds with this insightful slash story. An interesting connection between MacLeod and Kronos is revealed -- though Kronos doesn't actually appear in the story. Kinky, hot, violent -- all the things D/M is so very good at. This story is for the hard core D/M crowd. Such as me.

Wow, thanks so much for the rec. I wrote this ages, and ages, and ages ago and it's easy to have forgetten that at the time I wrote it, it was one of my favorites. Thank you for reminding me that once upon a time Duncan/Methos was my first OTP. *hugs*

You're welcome, it's a good story still and I thought it should be remembered. We have a few new Highlander readers, so I rec'ed some of the old stories they may have not yet found, along with the new ones. I hope you are still writing with enjoyment in your new fandoms. Guess I'm kind of a dinosaur.
