Why this must be read:
This is an AU of the Rurouni Kenshin 'verse where all the characters and the first couple plot arcs of the RK series are transposed into a modern day urban dark fantasy setting--something a lot like World of Darkness or Underworld.
I really enjoyed this one as a new twist on a series I love. It's very faithful to the original, but at the same time it's completely new because of the wildly different setting. If you're a dark fantasy fan, even if RK isn't something you've watched or read, this one is not to be missed.
