Why this must be read:
Reading Erushi’s work is like experiencing the literary equivalent of a magic act, a seemingly effortless lilting lyricism grounded in a sharp observation of life’s everyday mundanities. I cannot recommend the experience enough.
Never having been fond of Mondays (mornings that begin obscenely early, afternoons that move too slowly), Doyle is inclined to treat its latest offering with suspicion. The tea is bitter as all office tea is, and cold, and the tart (100% organic, reads the crinkly brown paper wrapping in loopy letters) contains more over-baked butter and crumbs than it does apple and cinnamon. Bodie is also strangely absent.
