Why this must be read: - This is a story you'll either like or loathe. It's the kind that that normally I don't like - Blair is dead (before the start) and it's all about Jim's reaction to this; but Jane's writing is powerful, never overstated, and the reaction is so in character for Jim that it's one I go back to at fairly regular intervals. It's not a happy read - but even if you don't normally like death stories or darkfic, you should give this one a try.
