Why this must be read: The Merlin fandom abounds in wonderful AUs, and this one is a favourite for it's snappy dialogue and genuinely humourous look at Merlin and Arthur as a spy and his handler. The Merlin/Arthur banter is spot on, and the small cameo by Morgana is great and I just adore the last line...it always makes me smile.
At seventeen, Arthur knows he's destined for great things. He's going to be a rock star. He has the attitude, he has the leather pants, and he's sure the guitar playing will come along eventually
