It seems I have the honor of being the first to rec a Misha RPS fic!
I know there's some serious debate within the RPF fandom when it comes to the boys' wives. I for one, like a little realism even in my RPF, and thus LOVE when wives are used in an appropriate way. This fic was my first Jensen/Misha and it still remains one of my favorites because the author includes Vicki without suggesting anything we don't already know from Misha and Vicki's own mouths.
It's a great way to imagine Misha and Jensen actually starting a relationship and it's nice to see a fic where Jensen is chasing Misha. It's short, sweet, and wonderfully hot.
After work, he calls Vicki.
“Jensen's been hitting on me,” he tells her.
“Really? How?” she asks, curious.
“He's just flirting and touching me and shooting me glances. It's like we're in seventh grade or something.”
“There really isn't anything going on between him and Jared?” She sounds a little disappointed.
“No, they really are just really good friends, as far as I can tell,” Misha tells her.
“Well, let me know what's up,” she says. She doesn't say anything more, doesn't want to sound like a nag, reminding him about the rules, he can tell.
“I will, hon,” he says.
“I know,” she tells him.
Misha misses her.
