Why this must be read: Sam is forever trying to work out what the heck has happened to him, so he really doesn't need is someone else coming up with their own theory. But then he hasn't reckoned with the Gene-Genie, and really it is all quite as plausible as anything Sam can work out.
Another fic which tells us as much about those around Sam as it does about him - this time it's his Guv, a much more complex man than Sam has given him credit for. And although it's G/Green Cortina rating, there's more slashy subtext than you could wave a copper's truncheon at!
