Stud Fee by Isabeau of Greenlea (NC-17)
Fandom: LORD OF THE RINGS
Pairing: Elladan/Eomer
Author on LJ: N/A
Author Website: Altariel and Isabeau - Fiction
Why this must be read:
Who'd have thought this very (very) unlikely pairing would result in such an uncommonly good Man/Elf story?
Elladan is just slightly predatory, Eomer is more than slightly reluctant, but Elladan has something Eomer wants. Well-done (and hot) slashiness ensues, with some wonderful shifts in the balance of power and control during their night together. By morning, who has mastered whom?
Refreshingly, Elladan is predatory without coming across like a jaded, world-weary elf, and Eomer is reluctant without coming across like an uncultured caveman -- and more importantly, he shows the ability to grow and change. The surprisingly touching conclusion offers genuine insight into the nature of what it really means to be an elf (or half-elf), especially one who shares the lives of mortals.
Don't let the glut of mediocrity in Man/Elf slashfic dissuade you from this one -- it's a rare gem.
