Why this must be read:
I adore Ford Prefect. While Geoffrey McGivern will always be my Ford, any version of him will probably always be up there, fighting for the spot of Zed’s favourite character.
This lovely little piece has Ford, Arthur, and Martin Bloody Smith from Croydon talking about the rather painful topic of what they wanted to be when they grew up. While it’s a fairly boring and bland topic for the Earthmen, the homesick Betelgeusian has some fairly understandable difficulty handling it.
It’s a very touching little piece, and shows a rather softer side of Ford that doesn’t come out very often.
