Lester is a sharp suited civil servant who hides the fact that he actually does care about his crazy team of amateur dinosaur hunters under epic amounts of sarcasm, and Ryan is a quietly competent Special Forces captain trying, against the odds, to keep the scientists safe. Together they make a great pairing.
