Hi, I'm streussal and I'll be reccing The Vampire Diaries tv series this month. I'm definitely a multi-shipper with this show, so hopefully there will be something for everyone (gen too). I am planning on doing a fandom overview, but it'll probably ended up posted during my university's reading break (two weeks from now).

Why this must be read: When I signed up to rec way back in April, this was the first fic that I wrote down on my rec list. The setting is New York in the 1980s. Damon gets a job on Wall Street, and Stefan is in the midst of an apathetic haze. The author gave the fic an American Psycho-esque sort of feel, full of materialism, meaningless conversation, fancy business cards, and of course the requisite sex, drugs, and blood.
