Why this must be read: This story does a fantastic job of exploring Bonnie's state of mind after the death of her grandmother, her feelings of displacement and resentment. It's genuinely touching, and manages to convey important issues in most of her relationships in few words. Token has repeatedly demonstrated her excellent handle on Bonnie, and this is definitely my favourite of her TVD fic.
