Why this must be read:
I was disappointed whenaiscat93 f'locked her fan-fiction community, because I'd wanted to recommend her! (I definitely suggest joining her fic comm, there's some gems.) Then she posted this awesome piece in a public post, and I realized that I still could.
This is an AU with vampire!Stefan meeting human!Katherine, creating an unusual dynamic. While Katherine as a modern human teenager is obviously very different from her usual vampire self, the author manages to make her still feel like Katherine - definitely not someone to be trifled with. Stefan is delightfully bemused by this dangerous teenage girl, but knows better than to play easy.
