This is high on the list ofladygray99 stories that should not work but do.
It’s a BDSM story with dom!Charlie and sub!Ian.
It shouldn’t work in a million years but not only does it work but it makes sense.
Spread over 233 drabbles (don’t worry they’re all linked together) the first 20 or so are a sort of standard BDSM story but then it keeps going.
It goes into Charlie perusing Ian across the country, Amita getting dumped, the other Eppes finding out, how Charlie and Ian both got into that life (not a nice story in Ian’s case), and it does not end until Charlie and Ian are two very old men still with each other.
Even if you’re not ‘into’ BDSM stories give this one a try because it’s about so much more than that.
