Love is pain. That truism is what fuels Branded by Roses, roses being delightful until they stick you with their thorns. Anakin and Obi-Wan are together, until they're not. Obi-Wan reasons his way out of their close relationship and back into a more reserved one, done for his own sake and I liked his reasoning a lot. Anakin didn't, though.
