FanfictionDOTnet had a hissyfit about a story or two and so the author moved her work to adultfanfictionDOTnet, with the exception of one story under the username KellyB. Dark Anakin is not always a redundant statement, as KellyB shows in this story. Padawan Anakin struggles with his past and his present, forgetting Padmé briefly, at least enough to try to manufacture a substitute fantasy. He emerges in the telling as flawed, understandable and overpowering. The girl in this story benefits. This story is one of a series, dark and compelling; as the author says, this is not a Cinderella romance, neither with Anakin/Padmé nor with Anakin/OC.
