Why this must be read:
This is described as an Obidala friendship story by its author. Obidala as in Obi-Wan and Padme's friendly relationship drive the narrative, at least until Anakin pops by to end the fic with a bang. Then the revelations really start to happen for Obi-Wan, a trickle turning into a downpour, and he realizes what he knows and then he knows he doesn't want to know any more. It's a sobering moment for him, and this story has light touches as well, but the sobriety that Obi-Wan takes with him is what you'll bring away from this story. It's the sobriety of an enabler whose heart is in the right place, surely a formula for disaster.
